Arts & Foods. Rituali dal 1851
9 April 2015Un palazzo e la città
11 May 2015The exhibition recounts the dramatic transition from an era of great economic and social transformations, when a part of society (the nouveau riche) began to experience the pleasure of comfort and the superfluous, to the sudden outbreak of war, when everything changes.
The advertising poster, which at the beginning of the century had become a modern communication tool and a new field of visual experimentation, became a privileged propaganda tool, calling for a sense of duty.
The exhibition is organized on the occasion of EXPO 2015 and coinciding with the events that will take place throughout Europe to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. It is divided into three Intesa Sanpaolo museum locations, called Gallerie d'Italia, in Milan, Naples and Vicenza and is configured as a "system" event of the Bank's museum circuit.
Our Archive participates in the creation of the exhibition in the Naples headquarters.
