21 November 2024Fondazione Cirulli takes part in the exhibition Elio Fiorucci, organized by Triennale Milano and curated by Judith Clark. The exhibition explores the creative dimensions of Elio Fiorucci (Milan, 1935-2015), designer, cool hunter and entrepreneur. Since the 1960s, his brand has revolutionized social customs, fashion and the contemporary art scene in Italy. Fiorucci's concept stores, in addition to offering the public for the first time an eclectic mix of clothing, records, publications and unpublished objects from all over the world, have been the point of reference for happenings and performances as well as stages for music and contemporary art capable of attracting intellectuals, performers and artists. The retrospective has a biographical intent and includes the human, entrepreneurial and cultural events of Elio Fiorucci, bringing a new look at his figure.
