L’officina del volo

The exhibition consists of over 150 works (paintings, sculptures, posters, photographs, documents and design objects) which tell the story of the birth of flight, between art and advertising, through the interpretation of the major authors (1910 - 1945).

The exhibition has an interdisciplinary approach and is divided into four sections: aeropainting, with paintings by Giacomo Balla, A. Gauro Ambrosi, Luigi Bonazza, Osvaldo Bruschetti, Anselmo Bucci, Vittorio Corona, Fillia, Osvaldo Licini, Plinio Nomellini, Guglielmo Sansoni, Mario Sironi , Tato; aerosculpture, with works by, among others, Renato di Bosso, Mino Rosso, Luigi Spazzapan and Thayaht; vintage posters by Gino Boccasile, Plinio Codognato, Fortunato Depero, Umberto Di Lazzaro, Luigi Martinati, Alberto Mastroianni, Aldo Mazza, Adolfo Wildt; photographs and documents by Italo Balbo and Gabriele D'Annunzio.
