Women in balance. 1955 – 1965

Fondazione Cirulli takes part with an important group of works in the exhibition L'occhio in gioco. Perception, impressions and illusions in art from the Middle Ages to the Contemporary.
The exhibition offers a new model that embraces two dimensions: the general gaze that accompanies the visitor to understand the investigation and development of the arts on the theme of movement, and a more specific one that investigates the relationships between the psychology of perception and creativity. The photodynamics of Anton Giulio Bragaglia, the graphic projects for fabric created on the occasion of the X and XI Triennale of Milano, the inlays by Studio Boggeri, as well as an important oil on board by Theo van Doesburg contribute to the narration of the history of perception and movement in line with the major themes addressed in the post-impressionist and futurist artistic production of XX century in the section curated by Luca Massimo Barbero.
